Jabulani partnered with HERD and Jameyana Primary School to help develop and grow the school’s gardens and sustainability projects, while implementing a nutrition programme, and also focusing on sharing awareness and knowledge about elephant conservation through different lessons and art projects. The school is in need of basic essentials such as pens, rulers, art supplies, class supplies, library books, computers and other equipment.

Each month, we join HERD Trust to donate supplementary Nkosi Super Bars for school. Jabulani sponsors the cost of around 1700 bars a month for the Grade R students. Through this, we assist in the physical and mental well-being of the school children during a critical time in their lives. The bars contain essential macronutrients crucial for the development of children under the age of six. Many of the students here will have their only meal of the day at school, as they come from impoverished homes where parents can’t always provide adequately for their families. Read more >

Jabulani also supports Hlokomela Clinic, an award-winning HIV and AIDS educational and treatment programme centre, that was initially built to support the local farming community. They have expanded to assist surrounding communities too, also helping seasonal workers and migrants from other countries such as Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and elsewhere in Southern Africa. Guests that would like to donate goods to Hlokomela, please let us know and we can pre-purchase products to take on a visit to the clinic or to drop off on our guests’ behalf. Guests are also welcome to leave old clothes behind that can be donated to the clinic.
