Jabulani Safari Announces Next Phase of Its Brand Evolution: Lodge Enhancements & Wellness Expansion (2026–2027)
by jabulanisafari
Jabulani Safari Update

Following the recent launch of our refined new brand identity, Jabulani Safari is entering the next phase of its journey, with a series of thoughtful lodge enhancements set to unfold over the coming months. This new chapter forms part of our continued commitment to creating a safari experience that feels deeply personal, luxurious, and meaningfully connected to the wilderness around us.
Expanding the Jabulani Wellness Experience
As part of this next phase, Jabulani will introduce three new signature suites, designed to further strengthen our wellness offering and create more space for rest, stillness, and reconnection. These new suites will expand the lodge’s accommodation and wellness experience, offering guests more opportunities to enjoy restorative, slow-travel-focused itineraries in the heart of the Greater Kruger region.
For many travellers, safari is no longer only about what they see. It is also about how they feel.
At Jabulani, that feeling has always mattered.
The new signature suites will allow us to offer an even deeper sense of retreat, where time in the bush can be balanced with space to pause, breathe, and return to oneself.
A Refreshed Heart of the Lodge
In addition to the new signature suites, Jabulani’s existing kitchen, dining, and lounge areas will undergo a complete redesign. These central lodge spaces are where so much of the Jabulani experience comes to life. Morning coffee before a game drive. Slow lunches between safari moments. Quiet conversations over dinner. The stories shared by guides, guests, and team members.
The redesign will introduce a refreshed contemporary aesthetic while preserving the warmth, intimacy, and strong sense of place for which Jabulani is known. The intention is not to change the soul of the lodge. It is to refine the spaces that hold it.

A Carefully Phased Process
To facilitate the work, Villa Zindoga will temporarily close for six weeks from 1 November 2026.
During this time, the villa will operate as an extended main lodge area while renovations to the existing communal spaces are underway. This phased approach has been carefully planned to minimise operational disruption and ensure continuity in the guest experience throughout the refurbishment period.
Every step of the process has been considered with our guests and travel partners in mind, allowing the lodge to continue offering the personal, attentive hospitality that defines a stay at Jabulani.
Continuing Our Brand Journey
This project represents a strategic continuation of Jabulani’s newly launched brand chapter. It reinforces our commitment to refined luxury, meaningful conservation storytelling, and personalised hospitality within one of South Africa’s most remarkable safari regions. Deeply connected to the work of HERD, Jabulani has always been shaped by more than place alone. It is shaped by care, legacy, conservation, and the extraordinary relationship between people, elephants, and the land.
As we continue to invest in the lodge experience, we do so with the same intention that has guided Jabulani from the beginning: to create a soulful safari experience that feels both quietly luxurious and deeply connected to purpose.
The refreshed lodge spaces and new spa suites are expected to be unveiled in phases throughout 2027.
We look forward to sharing this next chapter with our guests, partners, and friends of Jabulani.
