Formerly known as JabuGin, JabuGem carries a new name while preserving the same enriched taste and rare connection to the wild.

JabuGem is an infused gin crafted from carefully cleaned botanicals sourced from the dung of the Jabulani Herd elephants, who live under the care of HERD (South Africa’s first and only dedicated elephant orphanage, and a homestead for orphaned elephants)

As the Jabulani Herd moves through the private game reserve where Jabulani Safari is situated, the elephants forage on a rich and diversity of natural plant ingredients, including indigenous grasses, leaves, bark, seeds, fruit, and other bushveld botanicals.

These botanicals are naturally carried through their journey, later carefully cleaned and prepared for the infusion process. Each infusion captures a unique taste of the landscape the elephants call home.

It is a rare connection between the land, the herd, and the glass.
