Schalk and Loula

“On the morning of 14 January 2014, farmer Dawid Uys’ workers discovered a den with wild kittens in a pine plantation in Piet Retief. Their mother seemed to have abandoned them. By late afternoon the kittens’ body temperature had dropped drastically, and as there was still no sign of their mother Dawid took it upon himself to rescue the week-old kittens.”

Our sister property, HESC, stepped in and arrangements were made to house the kittens at The Centre. However, after a while, the kittens had to be moved from HESC and were transferred to Camp Jabulani. Click here to read more.
