Soon after your arrival, guests have an opportunity to meet a few of our elephant “ambassadors” – three of the 16 elephants, namely Jabulani, Sebakwe and Somopane, selected to represent the Jabulani herd as they are sociable and genuinely enjoy being around guests.

This initial interaction provides insight into the elephants’ unique relationship with their carers and a chance to obtain interesting information on the biology and history of the elephants over the past twenty years.

While meeting the ambassadors, their curious trunks are always ready and waiting for you to feed them their favourite treats and our carers are on hand to take photos of your special moments with them too.
