Is it the JabuGin, the coffee or a simple glass of water?

I don’t know about you, but I get very thirsty when on holiday. Always in the mood for something cold and refreshing. We have one again, asked the rangers on their preferred safari beverage on an average day at Jabulani.

Coffee will normally be my drink of choice, it doesn’t often matter what time of the day it is. Coffee will be an all time favourite no matter the season!

“As long as there was coffee in the world, how bad could things be?”
― Cassandra Clare

I am a simple man. Coffee in the mornings and in the afternoons I go for ice cold water as it’s important to stay hydrated in the bush.

Ranger Reece

I believe that the most important meal of the day is breakfast – to get that metabolism boosted. I would highly recommend their breakfast smoothies!

“I’ll stick with gin. Champagne is just ginger ale that knows somebody.” – Hawkeye, M*A*S*H

The Jabu Gin cocktail

The most enjoyable drink in the African bush to provide as celebration after a successful Safari is most definitely the Jabu gin cocktail.

With the cocktail been super refreshing in the sun ,it’s also not to to rich with alcohol so more then one could be enjoyed.

Its made of

Jabu gin,Cointreau ,Tonic water and Orange juice.

Garnished with.
Coffe beans ,rosemary

“I’d rather take coffee than compliments just now.”
― Louisa May Alcott

It is a struggle to ever turn down a G&T on safari. It’s definitely my preferred refreshment along with coffee and a Jabulani elephant biscuit. I also love a breakfast smoothie.

“The sooner the tea’s out the way, the sooner we can get out the gin.” – Henry Reed

Hands down a JabuGin and tonic!

Mari – Sales and Reservations

My phone cover says “when life hands you lemons you make gin and tonic”.

For most of the day, I stick to coffee. Iced coffee if it’s a hot day. After the sun sets, I switch over to rooibos tea. I do love gin though – either with tonic water or with ice tea.

Dani – Elephant Fostering Manager

Our staff has gathered the following votes for their favourite safari beverage. A good G&T (Gin and Tonic) or a simple lemonade at the elephant walk sunset sparks the atmosphere so well. A good glass of wine at the lodge wine cellar is very romantic. Some prefer a Chef special smoothie in the morning – so fresh for a warm Summer morning or a rooibos tea for afternoon tea.
