From the airplane to the game vehicle and into the bush… that’s your Jabulani welcome! The newly-renovated Hoedspruit airport is situated right across the road from our private Kapama Reserve.

Your Jabulani Ranger picks you up at the airport and whisks you right off into the wilderness, with its vast open spaces and remote bush location in South Africa. Start looking for the wild ones of the reserve as you enter: guests have been known to see all of the Big 5 before making it to the lodge.

In this video, Ranger Reece shares a catch-up view with two of the newest Guernsey lion cubs, who are now growing nicely! Drinking at the waterhole is Xivati, the dominant male leopard in our reserve, and a female he had been mating with. The second last leopard sighting also includes Xivati. The last leopard seen sleeping in the bushes is a solitary female. Watch as a zebra and her offspring trot past the path too!
